15 cozy autumn drawings

In autumn, we return to work, to studies, and little by little, the cold returns. We spend more time indoors, and it’s easier to have paper and pencil at hand for drawing.

If you’re in an autumn mood, try any of these simple drawings that smell like rain and dry leaves. Feel free to also open your box of colors and make use of the yellow, orange, red, and brown palette.


1. Leaves

It’s clear that the most typical autumn drawing is of leaves, but that doesn’t mean we’ll stop drawing them. There are a thousand different shapes, and if you need ideas, just draw the ones you see on the street.

2. Fallen Leaves and Fruits

Draw a ground full of fallen leaves. How many different shapes can you come up with? You can also add fruits like chestnuts, acorns, walnuts… If you color each leaf with a different shade, it will turn into a beautiful drawing.
